I started my massage journey 10 years ago on the shores of Lake Atitlan, Guatemala. Taking a boat across the lake early in the morning to San Marcos la Laguna, an indigenous Mayan town, to join a Swedish massage course with one of the town’s long-established schools of massage.
I continued on to practice massage in the community and develop my professional skills before heading down a totally different path, founding a cafe and bakery. A few years on, and having returned to the UK, I am now refreshing my massage skills with an ITEC diploma in holistic massage and starting to practice again.
I have found that massage for me allows both body and mind to reset, and it is this experience that I seek to share with others. Daily life puts your body through its paces and given some of the roles I have had throughout my life I can relate to many of the aches, pains, and strains of both physically demanding jobs and less active office work – and the mental stresses that come along for the ride.
I hope that after your appointment with me you leave feeling both physically and mentally rejuvenated.
